Membership Forms

Here are links to the two forms that the Sons of the Revolution uses for new members. The standard (Long) form is for all new members. The short form is for family members of current members of the Virginia Society.

These forms are in Adobe .pdf format. If you do not have Adobe  Reader installed on your computer, please click on the Adobe Reader icon to install the free version. You can click on each form to open. If you like, after opening the forms, they can be saved to your computer hard drive.

These online Membership applications are "enabled", so you can type in your application information. Then the form can be printed out for submission to the Virginia Society. Instructions and tips for filling out the appropriate form is available below.

Please note:

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE TYPEWRITTEN OR HAND PRINTED AND SUBMITTED IN DUPLICATE. (only one copy of documentary proofs need be submitted.)

If you need additional help in researching your family tree to trace it back to your Revolutionary War ancestor, the Virginia Society has a list of Genealogists for your convenience. This .pdf file can be opened and viewed with a .pdf reader such as Adobe Reader.
