There are three membership categories:
 

	Senior: Available to eligible males 18 and older.
	Junior: Available to male candidates from birth to age 18.
	Life: Prepays dues for life.

In the Virginia Society, the current dues scale is as follows:
 

	$70.00 annual dues for Senior and Junior members living in the state.
	$30.00 annual dues for Senior and Junior members living out of the state.

Life Members pay a one time fee as follows (Life members do not
pay annual dues):
 

	$1,400.00 for Senior Members
	Junior Members to be calculated according to age.

Please note, that new members pay a one time initiation fee of $100.00.

Publications included in the dues paid to the General Society are:
 

	Flintlock & Powderhorn: a 32 page magazine containing historical articles and speeches presented at a State Society meetings by distinguished guests.
	Drumbeat: the Society newsletter, containing information on State and General Society activities.
